World Faiths – Witnessing the Signs of God’s Existence

Soon We will show them Our Signs in all parts of the earth, and among their own people until it becomes manifest to them that it is the truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord is Witness over all things?

Islam, The Holy Qur’an, 41:54

The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death or life of someone, but they are two signs amongst the signs of Allah. So, if you see them, offer the prayer.

Islam, Saying of the Holy Prophet (sa), Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 3204

The God of Islam is the same God Who is visible in the mirror of the law of nature and is discernible in the book of nature. Islam has not presented a new God but has presented the same God Who is presented by the light of man’s heart, by the conscience of man, and by heaven and earth.

Islam, Saying of the Promised Messiah (as), Majmu’ah Ishtiharat, Vol. II, pp. 310-311

But ask the animals, and they will teach you;

the birds of the air, and they will tell you;

ask the plants of the earth, and they will teach you;

and the fish of the sea will declare to you.

Who among all these does not know

that the hand of the Lord has done this?

In his hand is the life of every living thing

and the breath of every human being.

Judaism, The Tanakh, Job 12:7-10

For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature, invisible though they are, have been understood and seen through the things he has made. So they are without excuse.

Christianity, The Bible, Romans 1:19-20

Eye cannot see him, nor words reveal him;

by the senses, austerity, or works he is not known.

When the mind is cleansed by the grace of wisdom,

he is seen by contemplation – the One without parts.

Hinduism, Mundaka Upanishad 3.1.8

Confucius said, ‘The power of spiritual forces in the universe – how active it is everywhere! Invisible to the eyes and impalpable to the senses, it is inherent in all things, and nothing can escape its operation.’

Confucianism, Doctrine of the Mean 16
